Nelson G. Alston, Esq. is the author of collections of poetry entitled Sonnets in the Name of Love and A Time for Glory and Hate: The American Civil Rights Movement.

Previous to building his practice in downtown Denver, Colorado, USA, Mr. Alston was a trial attorney with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Washington, D.C.

Nelson G. Alston earned his B.A. from Howard University, his J.D. from the University of Michigan, and was admitted to the practice of law in 1972. He has devoted his professional career to the enforcement of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and its subsequent amendments.
